I've set up my HM but can't get the import to work.

When I try toauto import the 'table manager' window comes up.

Would if be something to do with my folder of hand histories being in my D: drive?

Any suggestions as what to do?

Maybe download and start all over again?

Cheers

Please try updating to the latest beta version from the link in my signature.

If you have Vista, please verify that UAC is still off. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73

If that doesn't help, please answer and post these questions: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174

1- Holdem Manager Professional 1.08.04

2- A) PokerStars - my only site.
B) yes
3- Checked all that and it is correct.
4- Yes the hand histories are being sent and showing in the file.

When I got to Question 5 I pressed Options = Database management and this window popped up saying that "DBControlPanel has stopped working" "Windows can check online for a solution to the problem"
The HEM closed.

I've just noticed that forthe SitnGos I played - they are showing under the Tourney Tab!

In the main filter(edit) for cash games there are no stakes available to check!

Help Please.

Need a bloody degree in computing to use this product! But I must say thanks for all the Questionsand Answers links.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe.

To import all your missed hands:

*Close your poker client(s), then close HM and the Table Manager.
*Open your poker site HH folder and 'Cut' any HH files in there, and 'Paste' them into your \HMArchive folder, and/or a new folder on your desktop, so you can try to manually import them again.
*Restart HM > Import From Folder > point to your desktop folder.
*After it is done, you will want to copy the files in the folder on the desktop to your \HMArchive folder.
*HM doesn't move HHs when you use the Import From Folder option, like it does for auto import./

I tried that but it still doesen't import them from the desktop.

How about deleting all my files and starting all over again? I'e spent about 10 hours trying everything to get this to work!

Why are thee no stakes to check when I go to filter - edit?

My firewalls are off and the other UAC or whatever it is.Also I've added them to the exceptions.

Are you sure you have version 1.09. Beta 28 installed (you see it in the header of the main HM window)

You could try to create a new database to see if the import works with this. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146

http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe.

I can't create a new database, when I try it says hat DBControl panel has stopped working.

OK, my mistake, I didn't "run" the program.

Got it now and managed to import from the file on my desktop.

Is there anything else I should change?

Nope. If you got it updated, and your missed hands imported you should be good. You may want to copy any hands you put on the desktop back into your archive, to be sure they are there. Otherwise you should be fine for a few beta versions hopefully. ;)
