What do you have against the mighty 92s? lol

Something is amiss, this is my 115,000+ hand preflop chart:

I'm pretty sure I was dealt 92s at least a few times in those 115,000 hands. :)

P.S. For background, I just formatted my C: drive, reinstalled Windows Vista, reinstalled PostgreSQL (version 8.4 which I got working with a little help from a few 2p2 threads), and reinstalled HEM 1.08, imported all my hand histories, and finally I installed HEM 1.09 beta27. Everything seems to be working fine, except of course the whole reason for doing all this was to correct HEM crashing, which it promptly did tonight with the same damn transport connection error. Glad to see some things never change. LOL

P.P.S. I would greatly appreciate it if you could add in a "NUMBER OF HANDS" line somewhere on the preflop cards tab. I'd rather be able to choose seeing the actual total number of times I've been dealt AA, for instance, than just the percentage of time. For instance, here, I don't know if this "bug" is because it's not actually looking at all 115,000+ hands or if it's just looking at a small subset which didn't have a 92s.

1. the 92 thing i will forward to the developers.
2. Transport connection: this usually is a firewall issue. You need to configure exceptions for Postgresql and Holdemmanager. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=164

3. Please suggest it here: http://holdemmanager.uservoice.com/pages/5307-holdem-manger-suggestions

Awesome, thank you, this is the first time I've ever seen this FAQ page on the HEM website. I asked one week ago why we couldn't just grant an exception in Windows Vista firewall for the PostgreSQL and HEM programs, and I did not receive a satisfactory answer at that time.

I will try this and see if it solves my issue that I've had since I bought HEM over a year ago.

As an aside... I've had HEM also installed on my laptop for almost 3 months now and NEVER EVER had a "transport connection" error. I have the same Windows Vista, but my desktop is "Ultimate" version while laptop is "Home Premium". Seems like this is a problem with Vista Ultimate imo.

I just had a support session with the same problem. His windows vista firewall was turned off and it would not connect. I set the exceptions for HM and SQL and I could start the SQL service in the administrative tools again and connect right away.

The 92 thing is very odd... if you go into your hands tab and add a filter for Holdecards and set it just to 92s does anything come up? I don't really know how to explain that one since I've never heard of it before and I checked my own stats and 92s is there

Im on beta 28, Vista
Smaller sample but more "blanks" in the grid than that.
However if I select the blank I still get the cards report populated in the table below, and not just from the same frequency range so no pattern as to why some cells arent updated. The more radios I uncheck, the more blanks appear whilst still containing hits.

Btw with regard to #hands rather than %, the table below does give a total in the bottom line - that works for me.

Edit
Just noticed something
Using 92o as example
PS 21 times - grid cell shades & % is updated
FT 89 times - grid cell does't update
Combine both sites as alias grid cell doesn't update

(this also applies to the other "blanks" i see in my grid - but my PS grid displays perfectly)
