HUD starts up fine DOESN'T UPDATE

Hello,

I just purchased HEM and have the latest version installed.
I play only on FTP and the HUD starts up fine as does the table manager, however after a few hands, not many (5-10) they both stop updating. The recent pot summary does not work either, almost seems the hud freezes yet HEM continues to import fine.

It should not make a difference but if it does ...

I am using a mac running a windows XP virtual machine through VMware fusion.

I downloaded the trial few days ago and have the exact same problem. I have tried to do everything what this "my hud doesnt work" faq says:

1) Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe.
2) If you have Vista, please verify that UAC is still off. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot.
3) If that doesn't help, please answer these questions - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174
4) Post the answers in a new thread.
