Hi, I have had Hold'em Manager for months now, and have encountered a few problems. Sometimes when I open it up I get an error message (Not Responding).

Also I play on Full Tilt and when I opened up Hold'em Manager, the text in the Full Tilt Lobby disappeared. I closed Hold'em Manager and had the same problem so I reinstalled Full Tilt Poker. Full Tilt was running fine until I opened Hold'em Manager again and the same problem occured.

I'm guessing I should try a complete re-installation of Hold'em Manager, but I do not want to loose my profile, hand history, or information on other players. Please email me the steps of how to keep the information I need, completely remove the software from my computer, and reinstall it. Also if you have heard of this problem before, let me know how to fix it. This is very frustrating because I am now going to have to reinstall Full Tilt AGAIN and NOT use Hold'em Manager until it is fixed.

Thank you,

d. Tables not popping to front for Hold'em Manager users - We're in contact with the Hold'em Manager developers to see exactly why this is happening to some users. If this is happening with other HUDs as well, let me know.

e. Blank lobby - This is the issue where you run the client once and it's fine, but then when you close it and restart every bit of text is gone. We think this is a Hold'em Manager issue as well. If you have "Import from Sub Folders" checked in your Full Tilt auto-import rules and your import path is "C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker" (or wherever FTP is installed for you), Hold'em Manager seems to be going into the "Lang" sub folder of Full Tilt and moving all of the language files as if they were hand history files. Which means the next time you start up FTP, there is no text anywhere. You should be able to solve this by not having that checkbox checked (or by pointing directly to your HandHistory folder) until the Hold'em Manager guys release a patch to fix it for real.

I don't think a reinstall will help this situation, according to what I have read.

If you want the instructions anyway:

Fozzies BackUp Cliff Notes

Before you uninstall HM:

I want to re-install Holdem Manger without losing all of my settings and preferences. Can this be done? (http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=98)

You want to make sure you backup your Processed/Archived hand histories, your entire \config folder, and your exportednotes file. (http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/?f=119) I usually just copy my entire \Holdem Manager directory.

I would also make sure you manually export the database to hand history text files:

HM > Options > Database Management > Connect > Export Hands

How do I export or import hands into and from Holdem Manager? (http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173)

Make sure you copy that folder as well as the other stuff I mentioned.

This helps to insure that if anything goes wrong with the backup/restore, you can manually import the exported files to rebuild.

- When reinstalling HM, install the full setup, then the latest beta patch and finally your config folder if you want to use your previous hud configs.

1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files mentioned earlier.
2) Uninstall HM with www.revouninstaller.com using the Moderate or Deep settings.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, choose the Select All > Delete buttons to remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip
6) Download the latest patch HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe
7) Test if it for a while and see if it work
8) Close down Holdem Manager and copy the config folder from step 1 and copy and overwrite it to your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and import any notes and hands/database.
9) Test if it works again for a while

I cannot find the "Import from Sub Folders" or even the Full Tilt auto-import rules. Please give me step by step instructions. Thankyou
