Firstly thanks to Fabio for helping out earlier getting my HUD up n running.

Now I've had a chance to play around with it, got a slightly weird occurance going on. I want all the HUD numbers/stats in the colour white, nice n simple on a black background. So I've set them all to white but only two of the stats are in white the rest are like a murky grey and aren't as prominent. Any idea? Thanks

Have you got Adjust color for sample size checked? this would have that effect

Yup just tried that, to no avail. I also can't get my own stats off the screen despite having the "display for you" box unchecked and finally that bunch of stats that sits randomly off to the side, HH table or something, how do I get rid of that?

This is all after going thru every faq btw.

I think you misunderstood him. You need to turn that option off for every stat, or they will appear dim until there is a larger sample.

Are you using custom hud configs or the default config? If custom ones, have you got them setup properly on the Use For: tab? Also make sure you untick the Display For You option for each New Panel and Line Feed, as well as the stats themselves. Otherwise you will have empty panels showing.

.

Not sure what you mean exactly. The table averages display and last 3 pot winners?

Also make sure you are using Beta 26.

right thanks all of the worked now apart from one thing. Yes I'm using custom job, display my own stats is unticked but still displaying. Everything else is set up ok now apart from that. Went thru the faq

edit: was a bit of a donkey, sorted this. so just the below problem left.

Now more stuff is cropping up. Most importanty, the stats are appearing over the top of everything. So if I bring a webpage up mid game the stats sit on top of my browser. Therefore tables on top of one another when stacking is obviously not working out.

Next. As for what stats are available. For the steal I'm after a % of bb folding to sb push. There is a % bb calls a steal but the steal could be from anywhere, from co to sb. Am I missing something here or can this stat not be found?

For the HUD issue, make sure you do not have the HUD Options > Tables Preferences > Force On Top turned on.

For the stat question, you will probably have to filter to get that stat, but I honestly don't know for sure.

Here are the majority of our stats.

and take a look in the stats definitions at the end of the manual: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HoldemManagerManual.pdf

Ye that would make perfect sense I'm being a donkey again! I thought I needed that switched on to keep the panels in place for next time firing up the HUD?

Regarding the stats. It does seem clear that there is no individual stat for % bb fold to sb shove which out of the hundreds of steal stats available this is one of the most imperative of all lol. Can see it has been brought up in the suggestions forum which is now closed for some reason. Who can I talk to about these stats ie the programmer?

Btw you do an amazing job of helping everyone all over the forums it's much appreciated :)

The best place to suggest any stats or features is here - http://holdemmanager.uservoice.com/pages/5307-holdem-manger-suggestions

The developers use that as their running feature/stats requests list. The only other area the developers check regularly on the forum is the current Beta thread in the releases forum.

OK so after everything I've decided I want to see my stats at the table now. But it only displays my stats for the game I'm in and not filtered. How do I get them to appear the same as my opponents, ie with all my hands from the past?

That is by design.

HM is designed to only show your session stats at that table as we felt it was alot more useful for a couple of reasons:
1) Alot of people will have a huge amount of stats on themselves so it saves lagging issues having to show these for yourself
2) Alot of regulars are very aware of their stats and when youve alot of stats accumalated it would take a huge swing just for 1 stat to change since youve such a big sample and so there not very useful
3) Its much more beneficial to see your session stats to get an idea of how aggressive or passive people will see you since you sat at that table. (again even if its against a reg youll know yourself your overall image or at least you should)
4) You can easily check your overall stats in the reports section to remind any stats but again most people know their stats pretty well.

Ok fair enough, I'll just have to memorise my filterd stats to compare with others which would give me an idea of their play versus mine.

Ok so now another query. When we focus on a particular stat and the yellow box zooms up, say prf% it shows which positions the raises are from etc. Say it says from the buttton 20% (5). the (5) obviously means number of hands, but would this mean it's 5 hands that have been raised in an unraised pot from the button? So 20% would be like 5x (5) so 25 hands got to him unraised on the button and he raised 5 of those? Or is it 20% of 5 meaning like 1 raise out of 5 hands that got to him on the button unraised? Seems weird when you've got 150 hands on someone and the number of hands (5) is such a low number for raising from the button?

The (5) is the number of total samples for that action. So 20% would be 1/5 times. For something like VPIP, where you have an opportunity to VPIP every single hand you play you will have a larger sample size than other stats, such as PFR or 3Bet, because you don't have an opportunity for those actions every hand.
