Hello,

I am not able to install postgresql database properly. I am using Windows Vista and I have done everything properly and exactly as all instruction says. When I set up everything as you advised and start installing it (I have all firewall disabled), it displays the following errors. When istallation is finished, database is not installed properly so HEM cannot connect to it.

Those errors are displayed in the message in those pictures. Anyway, they are:

1) Failed to connect to the database. Procedural languages files are installed, but are not activated in any databases.

2) could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061)
Is the server running on host "127.0.0.1" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?

3) Failed to connect to the "template1" database. Contrib files are installed, but are not activated in any databases.

4) could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061)
Is the server running on host "127.0.0.1" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?

This is likely a firewall issue.
