Under Player Types
If I have All ("Enemy" Player Type) selected it works.

But if I create a new player type/color definition
And only have that player type selected.
And that color definition have all stats 0 (zero) = are ignored.
So that player type is = all players when it have everything 0-0 min sample 0

Then it doesnt work. It says Hero is of wrong player type.

How can this be? The player type I created represent everyone.

I did the exact same thing on 2.2.1.1 and i have been unable to reproduce this.

It works now.

First I installed a internal version then a other.

Now I rolled back to 5732.

And now it works as it should be everything in the range you setup get passed but this is nc 2.1.0.0

Something must have been wrong in the other version, when I made a color definition that will pass everything but it didnt.

By the way is it best to select player types under "Player types" thats what I usually do.
But there a option to select player types under Previous action also.
When would you use "Player types" and when do you use "Previous action player types"?

select previous action example: you want to take a def where villian folds to 3 bet but only when the 3 bettor is a tag

so under prev action you would select 3 bet and in player type you would select tag. this ensure only hands where a 3 bet was made by a tag will be considered

this is imp coz if someone is drunk and 3 betting every other hand almost everyone will fold a lot less to him. extreme ex but also applies to lags or super nits.

but if you are a lag you want to know how he reacts to 3 bets from lags so then in prev actions u would have lag as player type

This is loads fun if used correctly. Enjoy!

Lets say I want to do a definition about call 3b and I only want to see hands they call 3b vs regs.

Then I need to use the previous action, player type tab in preflop and select "regs".

But would not the 3bettor be an enemy to the open raiser so it could be set in the player type tab also?

Your example.
The villian would see the 3bettor as an enemy right?
Then you could set player type under player types-> "Enemy" Player type or?

Yes this will work as well. AFAIK this was added later to NC and we kept both ways open instead of removing one.
