View Full Version : Been reading FAQ's... Cannot find solution

I'm running the latest version. Just bought about a week ago. Playing on pokerstars, hands are importing fine. The player base is building, and all information and stats on tourneys seems to be working ok. Cash game information and stats are completely inop. I cannot view the cash game players list, if I try and click run report, it just freezes until i go back to tourneys.

Nothing is showing up under the cash game tab, other then the layout and the list of different stats on the left. My stars name is set, and it does display that under the cash game tab.

Running 1.09 beta 24.

HUD is also intermittently working. It's also not working for cash games. It does show the table listed in the table manager pop-up, but it won't display any stats(tried dragging the red box thing ontop, didn't work).

HUD also isn't changing players stats, when a new player sits down in the same seat.

The players tab is for running filtered reports on your entire DB. The default is a report for This Month, for all Players with 1k minimum hands. Loosen up the filter requirements on the left sidebar, for more results.

Are you sure that it is set to show All Hands and the Filters are cleared?

Can you upload a screen shot please, using the Manage Attachments button when replying.

Please try this, and see if it helps:

Close your poker client(s), then close HM and the Table Manager. Open your poker site HH folder and 'Cut' any HH files in there, and 'Paste' them into your \HMArchive folder, and/or a new folder on your desktop, so you can try to manually import them again. Restart HM > Import From Folder > point to your desktop folder. After it is done, you will want to copy the files in the folder on the desktop to your \HMArchive folder. HM doesn't move HHs when you use the Import From Folder option, like it does for auto import.

Try to make sure you close down the poker client before you close HM. You can stop the auto import if you arent using HM. After you have closed your client you can close HM. This should help reduce the HH files getting 'stuck' in the import folder.

So, I did what's in bold must of fixed a few things. Now the cash game side is working fine, stats are coming in, hand by hand, HUD seems to be working. I am still getting this message when I try to use table finder(even though it picked up the table, and the HUD came up on the table after the first hand).

And after I click on that message, this is what comes up. The red box thats suppose to be there to drag on the table isn't there.

HUD is working, and switching players, as new players come in now.

So as far as I know, everything overall is working, other then that table finder issue.

1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using?
1.09 beta 24

2) What Poker Site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than 1 site?

Just pokerstars

2a) Have you clicked the Start Auto Import Button?

yes, importing hands fine as far as I know
3) Have you the settings exactly as per the FAQ for your site?

I believe so. I've read and done everything I could from the FAQ's, to try to solve the issues at hand.

4) Can you see the Hand History files showing up in the correct Folder on your PC, this folder should be indentical to the path location you set in Options > Configure Auto Import Folder in HM? If so please copy and paste the location as shown in the FAQ?

C:\Program Files\PokerStars\HandHistory\rotary13b

HH's showing up in the right folder.

5) Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager?

yes

5a) Do they import if you create a new database?

Haven't tried to create a new database

6) Have You Tried the Table Finder and did it work?

yes, have tried. doesn't seem to be working correctly. that pop up message comes up, and the red drag box isn't shown

7) If you open the HH are they written in English?

yes

8) If your using Vista have you UAC disabled?

using XP

9) Have you attached the holdemmanager.config file?

Don't know how to do this

When I click on "table" then, "table finder", this message comes up...

after I click ok, the table finder box comes up, but the red box isnt there(it has been there, and working a couple times)

The hand history/screenname folder is

Dont know exactly what your talking about, when you say the "importing/HUD data" folder???

Something is screwed in your installation. Is it possible that you installed the Beta update to a wrong path?
