I received my total hand history from stars and am trying to import it into HEM. It's about a million hands of omaha and holdem mixed (again, I only have omaha manager). This takes about 9 hours to import.

Every time I start it up, it goes for between 20 mins - 1hr (5-10%) then crashes HEM. I just get the white out screen and spinning circle for a long time, then it says Holdem Manager has stopped responding, close etc. I've left it on overnight, so it's not just a matter of letting it sit.

FWIW im running Windows 7. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Trying to import holdem hands shouldn't cause this to happen should it?

Try breaking up the HH archive into multiple folders, of perhaps 100k hands per folder, or less to start. Then import the first folder, which should hopefully take less than an hour.

Please try any/all of the following things, as applicable, before importing:

Please update to the latest beta from the link in my signature.

Please verify that UAC is still off. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73

Make sure you have microsoft .net framework 3.5. If you do not, install it like this:

1. Go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Software and uninstall every Microsoft .NET Framework you can find in the list
2. Install this one: http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/e/20e90413-712f-438c-988e-fdaa79a8ac3d/dotnetfx35.exe

Uninstall any 3rd party firewalls or internet security suites completely.

Turn off windows firewall and windows defender.
