Hey,
I bought hem like 2 weeks ago to use it with ongame skins and everything was just fine until 2-3 days. Since then I'm experiencing the following problem. When I run hem and click autoimport the status freezes at autoimporting but it does nothing in fact. HUD doesn't pop up and in order to get it to work I have to delete the HEM stat .txt file. Then it works fine for some time and when the file gets to 1-2 MB the problem occurs again. I"m losing hands and it'll take some time for tower support to send me the whole HH so I can update my hands database with the misses.
I've got the latest HEM update and all set up correctly. Anything we could do to solve this?
Thanks

Update
It used to work fine for 1-2 days after I followed all the steps but after yesterday session I've lost like 20-30% of the hands. Most of the hands are imported until the end of the session. Some miss tho!

Please verify that the titlebar says version 1.09 Beta 24

If you have Vista, please verify that UAC is still off. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73

Make sure you have all the latest windows updates and microsft .net framework 3.5 installed.

Make sure you have set exceptions in your firewall for HM and PostgreSQL. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

If that doesn't help, please answer these questions. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174

1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using eg 1.06.04 Beta 12?
1.09 beta 24
2) What Poker Site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than 1 site?
Tower (Ongame)
2a) Have you clicked the Start Auto Import Button?
Yes
3) Have you the settings exactly as per the FAQ for your site?
Yes
4) Can you see the Hand History files showing up in the correct Folder on your PC, this folder should be indentical to the path location you set in Options > Configure Auto Import Folder in HM? If so please copy and paste the location as shown in the FAQ?
They usually do. But from time to time tower client is just closing for no reason. Then I see some file ongamegrab.txt in my C:\. I still import some hands but some are missing like 20-30% of the hands in a session

C:\Documents and Settings\Tzvetoslav\Local Settings\Application Data\P5\Towergaming\handhistory

5) Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager?
Yes (My HH file was once again deleted and new was created)
5a) Do they import if you create a new database?
Didn't try this
6) Have You Tried the Table Finder and did it work?
No
7) If you open the HH are they written in English?
Yes
8) If your using Vista have you UAC disabled?
I use XP
9) Have you attached the holdemmanager.config file?
Yes

Close your poker client(s), then close HM and the Table Manager. Open your poker site HH folder and 'Cut' any HH files in there, and 'Paste' them into your \HMArchive folder, and/or a new folder on your desktop, so you can try to manually import them again. Restart HM > Import From Folder > point to your desktop folder. After it is done, you will want to copy the files in the folder on the desktop to your \HMArchive folder. HM doesn't move HHs when you use the Import From Folder option, like it does for auto import.

If that doesn't help:

Please reproduce the problem and post a screenshot with the following. 1) The table manager, 2) The tables (including one with no stats), 3) The "importing\hud data" folder, and 4) The ...handhistory\screenname folder. Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.

Hi.
netsrak, I have the same issue.
HEM starts import (no matter autoimport or import from folder) then freezes for about 3-4 minutes untill it imports hands.
I used FileMon, and it shows that HEM reads and writes to "OngameGrab.txt":

i hade this isseu all all the time the only way is to close HM if it doesnt want to import, click Alt+Ctr+Delete and close HMImport.exe (otherwise u won't be able ot move that file after u start HM) and move HH file to archive

its sometimes that i dont have to do that but once or two in a week i have ot move that file manualy

im still curious about OngameGrab.txt it its really from HM then ok but it looks kind of suspicious

Hi there!

Did you already found out what´s about the ongamegrab.txt. Have the same file on C:.
Do you have OngameBetPot installed (Kapsersky claims trojan, developer claims false alert)?

I agree, this is kind of suspicious and weird, having this file in the root of the hard disk. I guessed it was something to do with holdem manager. The names between the "hello"s seem to be those of hand histories I looked at recently. I think we deserve an explanation though, or the code should be changed so as not to write temporary data to the c:/ directory.

We have discussed this internally and have forwarded it to our developers but until now we have received no answer.
I'll push it again.

This file indeed is generated by holdemmanager.
We used it for debugging purposes when introducing the Ongame mucked cards lookup some month ago. At the moment there is no need for this file but it will be created automatically.

We will remove it in the next releases.
