View Full Version : program importing files sporadically...

I have HM pro installed on two computers (laptop and desktop). The desktop has windows media center edition and the notebook has vista premium. Around the same time (maybe a month ago) imports from
Stars and UB (the two sites that I play on) began becoming sporadic. For example I would be playing heads up no and HM would not import hands and then all of a sudden 80 hands would import at the same time. Other times the prog. would run correctly and import hands every 5 seconds or whatever the default is. This is happening on both computers and is particularly annoying. Any ideas what it could be. Also let me know if i'm not providing enough info. - Thanks - Mike.

I updated the program and im still having problems with the sporadic importing. Any ideas, Thanks Mike

Can you look in Importing/Logs if there are any errors?

There doesnt appear to be errors. I'm going by the number of errors count on the import page. As far as I know everytime I look the number is 0. I can check the logs but I'm not sure where they are.

Have you another program that might be trying to import from that folder or possibly locking the files. On the Vista one have you UAC disabled http://208.109.95.123/faq/?f=73

The other thing that may cause it is antivirus/firewall type programs etc scanning the files in case they may have a virus so make sure all these type of programs have both the importing folders and HM in the excpetions list

I am using norton corporate editon for vista and windows firewall. These programs were also running when holdem manager was working correctly. UAC is disabled as well. Any other things that could cause this?

Yeah I just played a hu session on ub and the files imported fine up until hand 22 and after that it just stopped importing. This needs to be fixed asap. As of right now I am very unhappy with this product.
