Hello,

I am having trouble importing pokerstars hand histories.
I followed the FAQ and the HH files end up in the right folder.
HM reads the file during auto import but gives and error on every hand.
When i try to import the file manually it does not recodnize any HH file.

Im stuck and dont know what to do.

There are problems currently with 1.09 Beta 23a and PLO hands on pokerstars.

If that doesn't apply: Please update to the latest beta from the link in my signature. If you have Vista, please verify that UAC is still off. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73 If that doesn't help, please answer these questions. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174

I see a problem in your config file also. I have seen a lot of this recently, and I don't understand why the epidemic suddenly.

You have an auto import folder configured that is reading your archives.

So HM imports from: C:\Users\Geurtd\Documents\Poker\Pokerstars\geurtd

moves them to your archive: C:\Users\Geurtd\Documents\Poker\Pokerstars\Archive

And then HM auto imports from the exact same path as your archives: C:\Users\Geurtd\Documents\Poker\Pokerstars\Archive

When it tries to auto import that many files, the HUD will not work until the importer catches up.

Move your archives somewhere unrelated to poker, like: C:\HMArchive, and edit your archive folder in HM to match the new archive path

<setting name="AutoImportFolderList">C:\Users\Geurtd\Documents\Poker\Pokerstars\geurtd, True,True,C:\Users\Geurtd\Documents\Poker\Pokersta rs\Archive
</setting>
<setting name="LastArchiveFolder">C:\Users\Geurtd\Documents\Poker\Pokerstars\Archive</setting>

I just noticed that after i changed the archive path it does move the file, but still no data in HM

Just tried another game and this time is does import the hands auto, the hud appears now, it's position is off but i have to work on that.
Still can't import the old HH file, very strange

.......

9) Have you attached the holdemmanager.config file?
Yes
.......

You only uploaded a HH file. Can you please upload the config file.

9) Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder.

If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager. To attach it to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a manage attachments button. Click this and attach the file.

Please www.7zip.org the hands and email them to me at fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread.

After I get a chance to try and import them I will let you know what happens. If they import fine for me, I will probably setup a remote support session with you for tomorrow evening, or whenever is convenient for you.

It works when i put the file in the root of my c drive.
In any subfolder it fails, but in the root it works

It also works when the file is in the main folder "c:/program files/poker starts/xxx.txt"
