Hi all,
If it's not very complicated, I would like that someone could explain me more about how to determine playing cards range. I've read most of the articles at the "Holdem Manager Articles And Training" but i didn't get how to determine players played card range from any stat. For example, let's say player X has VPIP 20%, so he plays 1/5 of all possible card combinations. So how can I exactly say that he plays, let's say 66+ A10o+ Axs ect.(probably it's not right info, it's only example)? I would really want to know it.
And more about the range. If the guy has VPIP 20% and I determine the cards he would play, will I get the same info looked not at his VPIP 20%, but at his Preflop Raise 20%? Or the range is calculated differentely with each stat? Thank you for your answers.

I can't really give any specific answers, as I am not very knowledgeable about this stuff. You will probably get more helpful answers if you post this type of question in a strategy forum, for your particular stakes, on a site like twoplustwo. You can also try using the HM > Tools > Hand Range Tool, but once again, I won't be any help explaining the finer points. :(

Use pokerStove to figure out these ranges.

PokerStove has a tool where you can see what makes up a certain percentage of hands. There's a big grid with every starting hand on it and a slider that you can drag across between 0% and 100%. It should give you a good idea of what hands are in the top 8%, 12%, 20% etc.

If villains are good, PFR should vary by position. Ie if you see them open-raise in the CO, their range could be >30%; if they're raising UTG it could be closer to 8%.
