View Full Version : HUD Configuration - Panels jumping to corners all the time
Im trying to ARRANGE the panels of my HUD for more than 1 hour now. Its really annoying. All the freakin panels seem to be on the right place and suddenly some of them just jump in another location for no reason. Please tell me how to fix that, im steamy and getting mad lol

On which site are you playing?
Setup the seating preferences: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/34/PreferredSeating
If that doesn't resolve it.
1) Close HM and the Table Manager.
2) Delete your existing position files, so HM will rebuild them to default:
3) Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\pospref2txt and pospref4.txt.
4) Start HM< Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and open 1 cash table.
5) Use Ctrl Right-Click Drag to move the panels Move the main/first panel for each player first. This is the panel with the Note Icon (asterisk).
6) Once the main panel is in the proper position, you can position any hud sub-panels for each player.
7) Once they are set, go to Table Manager > File > Save Positions.
8) Close that table, open a new one, and sit to play.
playing on betsafe. had my seating position set.
2)delete your existing position files, so HM will rebuild them to default / which file do i have to delete?
i did everything except 2) now. if 3 is the instruction how to do 2) then i did that. did NOT solve my problem. using latest HEM build
and i manually changed ALL seating preferences to None excepts ongame and betfair which i set to all none but 10max on seat 8

Files to delete (2)--> were the files mentioned in (3): Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\pospref2txt and pospref4.txt
Try this: Delete the file Program Files/RVG Software/HoldemManager/Config/exenames.txt
Then try the TableFinder again: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/60/ConfiguringTableFinderToShowHUD
Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe
its even worse now :/ table manager shows me 1 unattached table at table->table finder but he wont find it after applying the red square to the table. the 'table overview' is empty too

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?
Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe
For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.
Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.
Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (or later for w7) installed.

i did everything as described, triple checked all options and did a fresh install of hem. my hud is working again now but the panels keep jumping into corners...
this is so annoying and costs me so much working time.

Re-read: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/34/PreferredSeating
After you've moved the HUD panels to the right positions:
click file--> save positions in TableManager and
hud options--> table preferences--> lock the layout
im running no active anti virus (just scan manually), win 7 and disabled windows firewall. cant set up all the panels right to click lock the layout, they just jump too fast, save positions doesnt help anything
