Im trying to set up a new config for my stars now. I selected stats I wanted and hit apply/ok. Then selected "use for" stars - full - hold em and hit applied/ok. Opened stars and it is still using the default in my player preferences in HUD options.

You need to set the default HUD config, on the use for tab, to a site you never play at. If there are ever conflicts in the rules you create on the use for tab, and HM is unsure what config to use, it will always use the default config.

I set the default to partypoker which I do not use and my cash game config. on stars. It still pulls the default. I know this because my 7th stat is something simple to track "Fold vs flop bet" but when I hover over it it is a stat for agression and multiple stats within that stat.

Please attach your \rvg software\holdem manager\config\prefs.xml file to a post, using the manage attachments button, and I will load it into my HM and see if I can sort it out.

I would also suggest you export the custom hud configs as well, just in case you need to import them again later.

When posting your reply, the manage attachments button is under the reply editor box.

The file is in C:\program files\rvg software\holdem manager\config\prefs.xml or C:\program files (x86)\rvg software\holdem manager\config\prefs.xml

I had no issues with your hud config. I changed the default config to use multiple panels so it was easier for me to distinguish the 2 different HUDs. Then I played a table at FTP and Stars.

Try this:

Export your custom hud config.

Close Hm and Table Manager

delete: %Program Files%\rvg software\holdem manager\config

prefs.xml, pospref.txt, and pospref2.txt.

That will make HM recreate the default files when you restart HM. Now import your custom config, and set the default config to a site you don't play again.

You will need to reset your seating preferences in HM, and adjust the HUD panels again after you are playing at table. Check any other HUD Options > settings to make sure they are still setup properly.

Everything seemed to work Fozzy. ...TY. But maye i'm over thinking HM. I selected 8 stats to track and when I hover over thaat stat box all I expect to see is that one specific stat. not all the "sub stats.

Why would you need a popup that only shows the exact same thing displayed on the HUD? The hover-over and click-on popups are for greater detail on related stats, for more difficult decisions.

If you don't want to see the popups you can turn the HUD Options > Popup time (ms) up, so they will be less likely to display. You can also turn on the Click For Popup option, and that should pretty much eliminate any popups.

Like I said, overthinking. So the box below the player is my custom config stats and if I chose to hover over that stat it will show me the complete stat category w/ all rhe sub stats correct? The numbers in th box on the screen are % then correct?

Most stats are percents, but some are factors or whole numbers.
