Whenever I try to load the HUD a message comes ups saying, "Couldn't load config\PosPref.txt If you continue new panel positions will be written. Do you want to continue."

I clicked yes once, but I have a ton of panels to move and do not want to do this everytime, any suggestions?

You find this file in the config folder of your Holdemmanager installation.
Close Holdemmanager and do one of the following:

You could delete the file via windows explorer and rename pospref.bak to pospref.txt
or
overwrite it with the one i attached to this post
or
delete it and a fresh new one will be generated when restarting HM.

But in every case you have to adjust your HUD after this again

So I overwrote the file with the one that was loaded and it worked for a while, but then all of a sudden in the middle of a session the hud stopped working, and I got the same message. Any reason why this keeps happening?

Which operating system?

It could also be a spyware / tuning software or any other running software issue which sometimes locks files.

Make sure you have updated to 1.09 beta 24 from the link in my signature. Make sure Windows is fully updated and that you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
