Ok, having stars import errors checked all usual suspects, found beta, attempted install. Several files said "unable to replace X" finished as normal other than that, but import errors continue.

Ok, after rebooting still nothing, but I tried a couple more times to install the update and opened the HEM folders to see if I could locate the files it was unable to replace, and for whatever reason when I ran the update it gave me no "unable to replace" alerts, updated HEM and now they import fine...

This is because HEM would have been running when you tried updating before, it needs to be closed when updating.

No, in fact it was closed.

Just because it isnt open and visible, doesnt mean it shut down fully. Reboot, and run the hmbetaupdate file as soon as your pc boots up.

I had the same problem in my 2nd PC using Vista. Reboot doesnt help, dunno why.

But there is an easy solution. Just delete the files from HEM folder you cant replace them and launch your HmBetaUpdate again. It works.
