i have been looking to see what this stat " EV$$Diff" means in the cash game tab in the bottom window where each hand is listed. can someone explain
for example
a hand shows me with pocket 8h 8s
flop 7s 3s 8d
villian has Ac 7c
turn is Ad we get all in
my equity is 95.5%
my hand holds up
EV$ diff shows -$4.58, for pot of $103.45
deos this mean i won less than expected based on equity when we got all in?
this makes no sense to me
if the river had come an A then i can see me with an EV$DIFF of around
-$95 since i was a huge favorite to win after the turn when the money went in
the EV$$diff looks like the "extra" i won over the expected equity over a large nmber of hands, so in theory the larger negative the EV$DIFF total is the more lucky i have been in the short run exceeding the expected statistical
win total.
is this a correct interpretaion of this stat?
i couldn't find any explanation in the manual
thanks
