Running on XP home edition SP3.
I have tried to start it manually in administrative tools.
Next step says to delete postmaster.pid, which I couldn't find in it's folder, tried reinstalling postgreSQL several times.
FAQ #171 for antivirus/firewall problems is only vista concerned.
After checking it neither of them blocks postgreSQL. I also have tried to start it with both antivirus and firewall shut down.
