Session tab freezes up, timer stops after a few hands, refreshing shuts down HM2 at once. In the meanwhile, the hands are imported and shown in the hands window, HUD is working. Doing this since last update.

Please make sure that your windows is up to date, all service packs and windows updates installed.

Uninstall your current NetFramework version with this tool: http://videos.holdemmanager.com/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip

and download the NET installer and run it

For XP / Vista http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/e/20e90413-712f-438c-988e-fdaa79a8ac3d/dotnetfx35.exe
For Win7 - NET4 Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer) (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=9cfb2d51-5ff4-4491-b0e5-b386f32c0992&displaylang=en)

Install the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_2_Beta.exe

Add holdemmanager.exe, hudfuncapps.exe, postgres.exe, pg_ctl.exe, and any other programs you use for poker to your firewall.

If you continue to have problems:

What RAM and CPU do you have?

Go to Hud Options > Config Properties > General Settings and tick Hud logging and restart Holdem Manager.

The log is cleared each time HM2 restarts so make sure to zip up the log just after the crash/problems AND BEFORE you restart HM2.

Please attach your log.txt file from C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager.

Hidden Files will have to be enabled to view the file. Instructions are located here:

Show hidden files (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Show-hidden-files)

If your Windows is hiding known file extensions the file will simply be called 'log'.

Email this log file to hm2support@holdemmanager.com with a link to this thread and your forum name.

Once you have sent the log file you can restart HM2 and disable the HUD logging.

I have a win7 Ultimate, it is always up to date, running on a 4 core AMD system with 4G RAM, 512MB video, latest driver. I had the mouse over issue with the autorate icon, giving me .net failure messages, but that has been resolved many updates ago. I downloaded the cleanup tool some time ago, but never had to use it. I will try it out tonight. Are you relatively sure this is a .net problem? If the cleanup tool does not work, I will mail you as you asked.
regards.

Well, I uninstalled/reinstalled .NET framework 4, i opened a few tables, and nothing has changed. Session timer/hand count stops, and on refresh, instant crash, after restarting HM2 the seesion counter is updated, but stops after a few hands. I have not reinstalled HM2 though should I do that too? Big pain ita to re-establish settings, config file save//reload fully resolves that?
