HUD PS Cash Games not displaying when new players arrive

I've been having an ongoing issue in pokerstars cash game since the beginning of November. Up umtil then, I was having no HUD issues

The symptoms are:

1. All is normal with HUD until new player arrives at table replacing a player who has left the table. No HUD is ever displayed for the new player even after they have been dealt in. (A start and stop of the HUD is the only way to fix it). The rest of the HUD displays are working correctly.

2. No mucked cards are displayed at the end of the hand ( A start and stop of the HUD will pop up the mucked cards of the last hand)


The last suggestion was that it was a time problem. (Doesn't quite make sense to me). The timestamps in HM2 are displaying correctly to my local time. The time offset in the site time adjustments config is correct.

My local time is 1 hour different to the PS clock since the beginning of November since my local area does not have daylight saving. My local time is not an option as a regional time in PS.

Please export your HUD's in HUD Options.
Then delete the prefs file in the config folder in
7: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\

Please make sure that your windows is uptodate, all service packs and windows updates installed.
Uninstall your current NetFramework version with this tool: http://videos.holdemmanager.com/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
and download the NET installer and run it

Problem solved. It's a bug. It is caused by overhang. I can make the problem repeatable

I now know what is causing the issues as described.

I've been testing this on a single table. When the screen is max, the problem exists (no new players get stats, and no mucked cards are displayed. Note Overhang was set at 100.

When the screen is small, the problem does not exist. eg at quarter screen size.

When the screen is stretched (at a guess) 85% screen size or above, or at full screen the problem occurs. 100 screen overhang setting.

Now at max screen size, if the overhang is >=93 the problem occurs. Below 93 it is ok.

OS Windows XP
Resolution: 1280 x 768

I have set my screen overhang to 0 to fix the error for now.
