I know this has been reported before, but every time I try to launch Hold'em Manager, I get the following:

Xenocode Virtual Appliance Runtime

This application has encountered an error: 0x80004005, with the following description:

Unspecified Error

Please contact the publisher of this application for more information.

I saw in a couple of cases that the user did a TeamViewer session to resolve the problem. I was wondering if any consensus on resolving this had come about. I am interested in purchasing HM but would like to try it out first.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled PostgreSQL and HM with no success.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks for the help. I tried the following:

- Reinstalled .NET 3.5 (includes 2.0 + service pack 1 and 3.0 + service pack 1)
- Downloaded gdiplus.dll and installed to C:\Windows\System
- Installed HM 1.09.21 BETA
- Tried running as an Admin in Vista

No luck. I get the same error when I try to open HM (I cannot open the HUD - if I double-click, nothing happens).

My machine:

- Acer Aspire 5630
- Windows Vista 32-bit
- Intel Centrino Duo T5500 1.66GHz
- 2GB RAM

Not sure if there is anything else you need, but please let me know and I can provide it.

Thanks again.
