Hi, I am trying to purge some hands but it says: 'There was an error during the Purge: ERROR: 42P07: relation "temppurge" already exists'.
Now I am not totally sure what that means but want to check out my HEM DB in pgAdmin but it says 'An error has occured: ERROR: index "pg_description_o_c_o_index" contains unexptected zero page at block 0 HINT: Please REINDEX it.'

What to do?

Hi, make sure you have 1.06.02 from www.rvgsoftware.com/hm/hmupdate.exe

If it still happens then let me know.

The second problem makes me think that there are corruption issues with your db which could have led to the first problem you are experiencing but make sure you use 1.6.2 and try again

Hi, I am using 1.06.02. I tried some things since I figured if my DB is corrupt anyway, how can I make it any worse.
Turns out that what I had to do was reindex the DB using pgAdmin and then manually drop the "temppurge" table. Afterwards purging worked except for the known timeout problem.
