Hey guys

I'm having a lot of trouble getting HEM to work with OnGame.

I use Vista and was trying to follow the tutorial. However I have no such folder as C:/User/Username/AppDate... etc. I can't find where the OnGame hands are stored or how to import them.

Thanks
James

Please check this: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=148

Under Vista make sure UAC is disabled http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73
and/or holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory.
Right click the holdemmanager.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu.

Thanks for the reply

HEM is running fine with ipoker and I have followed the FAQ.

The problem is there is no such thing as the folder it tells me to set as the hand history folder, 'C:/Users/username/AppsDate', nor can I find where my OnGame hand histories are

Thanks

See if this makes the folders visible.

Thanks you very much. I can view them now. As you can tell I'm not very good with computers
Thanks again,
james

That's OK, nothing to be ashamed of. It is a rather common issue here. There are certainly more important things in life than being a PC geek. ;)

I have been able to configure the folders follwing the steps on the tutorial. The files are importing, I know this because as I play and click 'auto import' everytime it updates it says '1 new file imported' etc each time. However the HUD does not show up and there appears to be no sign of the database whilst actually using Hold Em Manager. Also, the hands I have played on Stars are no longer visible.

The hands I have played on ipoker are all visible and the HUD still works perfectly with ipoker. I can't wrap my head around it at all

When I click on 'player aliances' under the Options tab I can search for my usernames on OnGame and Stars however they are visible including the hands I have played. But I can't view my reports as these players or see the hands

Thanks,
James

Please update to the latest beta from the link in my signature.

If you have Vista, please verify that UAC is still off. (http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73) If it is on, please turn it off and reboot.

If that doesn't help, please answer these questions. (http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174)

It isn;t just the HUD that is not working. I can not view report for my OnGame username, though I can access that name as a player alias.

The HUD is working for ipoker.

1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using?
Latest version

2)
OnGame is where the problem is occurring. Ipoker everything is fine. I can neither use the HUD nor view reports for my play on OnGame

3) Often times, it is one setting or one box that has not been selected that causes the problem. Please see our detailed FAQs on configuring Holdem Manager to work with select poker sites to make sure that your HUD is set up properly for your selected poker site.
I’ve followed these instructions, the hands for OnGame are importing correctly as the auto-importer acknowledges they are importing, and under Options>Player aliases and HUD Opetions>set hero names I can search for my OnGame screen name and it shows the number of hands I have played etc.
4) Check to see if the hand histories are showing up in the correct folder.
C:\Users\Jimbo\AppData\Local\P5\HeyPoker
5) So by now you should have confirmed in answering each question that you have setup the folders correctly and the hands are appearing in the correct folder.
Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager? Test this by playing a couple of hands and then going to the Reports tab in Holdem Manager. Navigate to Filter > Clear and for the date filter choose today. Do the hands that you just played import successfully?
On Auto import it confirms hands are being imported as I am playing. I can’t view them in the report however as I can’t even select my OnGame screen name in the report section.

5a) If the hand histories show up in the auto import folders, but they're not importing into the database, please create a new database and try importing some hands to test if it's a corrupt database.
I created a new database, it imported the new hands and under the ‘played against tab’ showed I had played against x amount of players, though non of their names are visible. I clicked on the report tab and it said ‘you have not selected a player to run this report for, please click Change’. I clicked change then ‘edit’

I clicked change and got this warning: ‘unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue this application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit thie application will close immediately.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

6) Have you tried the Table Finder and did it work?
I just tried and it won’t work. I drag the red square and it shows up in the ‘table finder tab’ but not on the Main table manager. I tried this a few times.

7) If you open the hand history files, are they written in English? Note that they should be.
Yes
8) Make sure UAC is disabled and unselect it and restart if it is.
It is
9) Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder.

It seems to me like there may be an issue with your database. Please email fabio@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so you can schedule a Teamviewer session. Download and install the Teamviewer software using all the default settings.

OK thanks, I have teamviewer. I'll be willing to ship some $$ to get this sorted!
Thanks
