postgresql install problem

When trying to complete postgresql installation with Windows Vista, I get the following error message;

Failed to install initdb:1!


...and can't go any further. Can't find anything in FAQs, any ideas?

Did you turn off UAC before starting the installation?

I suggest you uninstall postgresql and start as administrator again and make sure your firewall/spyware software is disabled for the installation procedure
