Yesterday I played a couple of hundred hands on Lucky Ace which was imported fine into my HEM database. I then tried to transfer the hands to another database using HEM:s export hands alternative.
But when I tried to import them in the new database I got hand errors on 95 of the hands.
What can possibly have caused this error.

I have played with Handgrabber and Lucky Ace saving the hand histories to the disk at the same time. But since HEM imported them correctly into my first database I can't see that the problem is due to that.

Which HM Version?

Update to the latest beta 20 http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe and try again please.

You can't really assume that I don't use the latest Beta Version since every support thread will then consist of two posts more, and especially not when there is a problem that reasonably enough can't be Beta related.
Exporting and importing hands within HEM has at least for me worked in every single Beta I used.

Is there anywhere I can see exactly what is erreneous with the HH instead of just seeing the message "import errors".

Sorry but you didn't mention your version and the "normal" user is not reading other threads.

In the Holdemmanager installation path are a lot of log files. You can look through them to see if you get more details about the problem.

When Holdemmanager is exporting the hands I have 136 hands looking like this in the exported file:

***** Pacific Hand History for Game 12052867 *****
$3/$6 Limit Hold'em - *** 07 23 16:40:20 2009

And I have 95 hands looking like this:

***** Cassava Hand History for Game 12052907 *****
$1.50/$3 Blinds Fix Limit Holdem - *** 23 07 2009 16:40:38

It is the 95 latter hands that gets import errors in the database I'm trying to import them too.

Please mail the hands with a link to this thread to fabio@holdemmanager.net. He'll have a look into it.
