View Full Version : HEM can't connect

I have been using HEM for like 2 months with no problems, today I come home after being gone for a week and it can no longer connect when I click login. Here are the errors:

I'm running Vista and there was an update, that's about the only that has changed on this computer.

Please try updating to the latest beta version from the link in my signature.
Uninstall/disable any firewalls, and turn off Windows Defender.
Please verify that UAC is still off. (http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73) If it is on, please turn it off and reboot.
Then try both of these FAQs.

I installed the beta, and disabled UAC, now it's asking for my activation code again. But I don't remember the code and can't find the email.

Send an email to sales@holdemmananager.net and CC roygon@gmail.com with your purchase/license details that you do have.

Any ideas why I can't get this started?
Disabled McAfee firewall, windows firewall, windows defender was already disabled
Added the programs/exe files to the allowed program list
uninstalled the PostGresSQL Database Server 8.3
Reinstalled 8.3
Tried starting the service in services, no luck... don't know what to do?

Ahhh, this makes a bit more sense now. I thought you were here during some unusual hours recently, compared to your normal schedule.
