HEM won't import certain HH files for me.

I noticed that some of my tables didn't have the HUD appearing and I went through the FAQ and it turns out that some of my HH files won't import.

My importer is set up properly and will neither autoimport nor manually import from a file.

1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using eg 1.06.04 Beta 12?

Hold'em Manager 1.09 beta 18a

2) What Poker Site are you playing on and which gametype and does the problem occur on more than 1 site?

Full Tilt 6max NL; don't know if it occurs on any other sites

2a) Have you clicked the Start Auto Import Button?

yes; it won't work; nor will selecting the files via Import File(s).

3) Have you the settings exactly as per the FAQ for your site?

Yes

4) Can you see the Hand History files showing up in the correct Folder on your PC, this folder should be indentical to the path location you set in Options > Configure Auto Import Folder in HM? If so please copy and paste the location as shown in the FAQ?

C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\HandHistory\username

5) Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager?

NO

5a) Do they import if you create a new database?

NO

6) Have You Tried the Table Finder and did it work?

I tried it; it says it can't find any unattached tables.

7) If you open the HH are they written in English?

Yes

8) If your using Vista have you UAC disabled?

I'm using XP.

9) Have you attached the holdemmanager.config file?

Yes

Delete the record breaker handhistory file from your ftp handhistory folder

and
update to beta 1.09.19 http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

to see if it helps

There is no "record breaker" handhistory file.

Also, now using 1.09 beta 19. It does not help. It just says Found 0 files to process.

Please move the files to a different folder and manually import them via import file or import folder

That worked, although it seems more like a band aid than a cure.

You can thank full tilt's new update and the way that they (don't properly) update the modified dates of the HH files.

Why can't you just re-import all FTP hand histories in the folder instead of ignoring old ones? Then move imported ones once they are no longer locked by the client? I'd rather have the auto-import be a little more sluggish than not work.

This way would cost to much performance
