0xD0000008 pops up whenever i try to open the program. Says to contact the publisher. What do i need to do?

Try to download the version you are using or the latest update (http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe) again. Clean your browser cache before or use a different browser. Then reboot your computer and install the update.

Check your Microsoft .net Framework http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=14

And if this doesn't help make a fresh installation of the full version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip to a different directory and see if that works

the first part didnt work. reinstalling now. Will let you know how that goes.

ok well i reinstalled and it worked for a few minutes before it quit importing. it stayed up but didnt import any new hands. I tried to install the newest update and after doing that I got the same error message as before and now it wont open again. Back to square one. so it appears that for me the update.. the one from fozzy's signature, contains my problem. Any ideas?

I don't see where we asked if you had Vista, and had turned off UAC. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot. Otherwise, email fabio@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so you can schedule a Teamviewer session. Download and install the Teamviewer software using all the default settings.
