I am trying to upgrade to the latest beta version of HEM to fix the full tilt issues but after installing I still see the 1.07 version. Is there something I need to do besides running the beta .exe?

You need to be sure you are installing to the proper path. If you installed HM to a default installation path, the installer should auto-detect the proper path. Default install path is C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager or C:\Program Files (x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager if you have 64 bit Vista. If you installed HM to a different folder or hard drive you need to change the install path of the beta update.

Find your desktop shortcut for HM:

Right-Click > Properties > Target:

Mine is:

"C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\HoldemManager.exe"

So when I run the update installer it auto detects and chooses this path, which it shows me during installation, and gives me a chance to chage.

C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager

Also make sure that HM shut down completely. You can check if any HM processes are runnning in the task manager, or even easier, is just do a reboot before updating.
