Hello!

I have just installed HM under windows 7 and I am unable to start it. I click on the icon and nothing happens, no error message, no program, not a sign of it in the task manager, nothing. I have tried reinstalling, removing, installing the non-beta version, nothing. I have used HM under xp for over a year.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
nonszi

The same as for Vista: Under Vista make sure UAC is disabled http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73
and/or holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory.
Right click the holdemmanager.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu.

Hi

That didn't solve it.
Also when installing postgresql, I am getting the error msg: "Ther secondary logon service is not running".... Any ideas for that?
btw hmhud starts fine.

thanks

Just go to the windows services and start the secondary logon service...

We had the same problems yesterday. The reason where corrupt download files for the installation. Please clear your browser cache or use a different browser and try again.

Please schedule a remote support session with our support manager. Email fabio@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread and your forum name, so he can setup a Teamviewer session.

well after even the remote support couldn't help me at all, I have spent a week fixing it and it turned out my firewall was the most likely reason (comodo). It didn't help if I turned it off or stopped it, I had to completely remove it. it's pretty odd because it didn't have conflicts with HM under XP.
now it works, but I had to sacrifice a firewall.
