I love HEM and decided to delete PT3 as it takes a lot of space from my old computer. After doing this the HUD just stopped working and I noticed it's not importing any new hands. Wtf?

I tried re-installing PT3, but HEM still isn't finding any new hands. I had PT3 before purchasing HEM and I think when I first did the database confuration thing, I set it up to import hands from my old PT3 database. What do I need to do to be able to do set it up to work without PT3?

My HEM is configured to import normally from program files/Pokerstars/Handhistory...etc, and I don't get why I need to have PT3 in any part of this process? But I don't mind having it re-installed, if only I could get it to work again...? Help please.

PT3 is not needed for HM to import hands.

Please check your Stars configuration http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=147

and make sure you use the latest beta:

Yes I have HEM configured according to the FAQ, and I am running the latest beta.

I was playing two tables of HUSNGs with HEM and HUD on while I was deleting PT3. The second I deleted PT3, the hud disappeared and the import said it wasn't finding any new hands. I think the timing was a little bit too perfect for it to have nothing to do with PT3? I know HEM doesn't need PT3 to work, but I can't think of any other reason why it would stop working all of a sudden.

I have double-checked that my stars auto-import has been configured properly and that nothing has changed since deleting PT3. Is there any way this could have something to do with my old hands being imported from my PT3 database? Like if it's set to save new hands in the PT3 postrsql database as well, and once that database is deleted HEM doesn't know where to save the hands anymore? Although I didn't think deleting PT3 would delete the database too...

I really really can't get this to work, I've spent 5 hours trying to fix this now

HM and PT3 both use Postgresql as database server but different databases.
