Hi. After reading the FAQ, and having HM fully working on Party Poker, and with a minor problem on Poker Stars (I have to tell HM where is my table, so i never can have the HUD running on my first hand), now i still can make it run on Ongame. The problem is the following, i select the file to import and when Holdem Manger does it, it says:

Imported 1 files.
Files Imported: 1 of 1
Hands Imported: 0 Hands/s: 0.0/s <--------------
Duplicate Hands: 0
Import Errors: 0

I can say for sure that the selected file is the Hand History for Ongame (Bwin), and that it is in English. If it is helpful, i have no problem on uploading the file here (it is not too big).

By the way, I have only 7 trial days left and bwin is my main poker room. So, having Holdem Manager working there is the most important fact right now to decide purchasing it.

Thank you very much for your answer.

Are you using 1.09 Beta 18a? The link is in my signature.

I have upgraded to the version 1.09 beta 18a and now i can import the Ongame hand history. But, when i run the auto import, so as to have the HUD while playing, i get HM importing once and another the same files, about 40-50 files, and about 16.000 hands. It does it on a bucle. Ends it, and starts it again. I have looked for the files on the import folders, and they are no longer there. So i don't understand why HM keeps on importing them. 16000 duplicated hands each time and about 10 minutes, all that just for taking lots of duplicated hands and a big wasting of time while I need HM to be importing my live hands... Moreover, i can't still get the HUD working on Ongame. Maybe that is caused by this problem, i don't know. Could you help me to end of fixing it?

By the way, the number of files imported changes a bit each time: a few files less or more each time (47, 52, 41, 49, ...). A bit strange situation, i think.

Thank you very much once more.

You need to configure an archive folder so HM can move those hand histories occasionally. Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder > C:\HMArchive.

I had already done that, so i dont understood it. I had unchecked the Disable Archiving box and i had selected for archiving a different folder from the importing one. By the way, the HUD is working, but it took several (about 4) hands for the Table Finder to find it. Maybe that is for the delay the unneeded hands importing causes. And i have to attach the HUD to the game window.
Thanks, it starts to works little by little. If we could avoid the "re-importing" i think it would be fine. :)
Thanks again.

Please post a screen shot of the Auto Import Folder Configuration window for OnGame.

You should also go to the Ongame hand history folder and select them all, cut them all, and then paste them into your archive folder.

Sorry i am unable to upload it. I take the screen shot and it is between the limits of size, but... So, i paste here the info if it helps you:

Folder Name: C:\Documents and Settings\Yo\Configuración local\Datos de programa\P5\bwin\handhistory

Import from Sub Folders? "Checked" (No sub folders on that folder)

Archive Folder: C:\Documents and Settings\Yo\Mis documentos\Base de Datos de Bwin

Disable Archiving: "Unchecked"

Two more notes: The archive folder is empty, and the handhistory folder only contains a file (running right now), handhistory.log of just 38KB. It just contains this morning hands, so there are no files to cut and paste. I dont understand it :(

There is something wrong with your auto-import configuration. Please post the holdemmanager.config file.

I have noticed that there are TWO config folders on my HM!!
Config: Created the 15th of July
Config(2): Created the 9th of July
On the same way, I have almost all the HM folders duplicated, but for Fishfinder, Logs and Temp.

But, the Hm config file is only on the first folder, "config".
Here it is.
Thanks for your help.

The config file looks ok for me but the two config folders make me a little bit concerned.
I suggest you uninstall HM completely and delete the installation directory. And then start with a fresh installation of 1.08.04 http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip
update to the latest beta: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

I have read the link about how to preserve the settings, but... would this also preserve my database? I mean, all the hands already imported.
Thanks again.

Those are stored in the PostgreSQL database. You should be able to reinstall HM and get connected to your existing installation. Your HM should be archiving the processed original hand history files. Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit. This is typically C:\HMArchive, or a folder of your own choosing.

Here is my checklist of things to backup before you reinstall HM and a bit of extra backup related links.

Before you uninstall HM:

You want to make sure you backup your Processed/Archived hand histories, your entire \config folder, and your exportednotes file. I usually just copy my entire \Holdem Manager directory. It is also a good idea to export any non-default HUD configs you have created to XML file.

I want to re-install Holdem Manger without losing all of my settings and preferences. Can this be done? (http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=98)

I would also make sure you manually export the database to hand history text files:

How do I export or import hands into and from Holdem Manager? (http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173)

Make sure you copy that folder as well as the other stuff I mentioned.

This helps to insure that if anything goes wrong with the backup/restore, you can manually import the exported files to rebuild.
