My current PC is really lagging and i have ordered an insane PC, that i am picking up Monday.

I am not overly technical with computers. However, i have had a brief look at some FAQ, specifically: Question / Issue
I've recently bought a new hard drive and I would like to transfer my Holdem Manager database to the new hard drive, as it is taking up too much space on my old one. How would I go about doing this?

I am still not sure though how to transfer my HEM (and hand history's etc) to my new computer. What's the easiest way?

Can i simply Copy and/or Transfer the RVG Software folder + the PostgreSQL folder from the C-drive and put them in my new computers C-drive? Or is there more to it than a simple transfer?

thanks

1. Backup your database: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=12
2. As 2nd level backup export all your handhistories: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173
3. Export player notes http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=119
4. Save your settings: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=98

And copy all these to your new computer and do the described restore / import.

Don't copy the postgresql files, use the backup/restore method after installing the postgresql software on the new computer.
