Wrong forum: please move to HM-1...

Hi,

A fellow of pokerstrategy.com is not sure about the functionality of the button ICM with this example :
In this game with 7 players, I have 9BB and I push amultiway pot in the SB with 9 :heart:9 :spade: .

Is this correct when I read the following informations that way ?
Before I push, I've an EV at 2.39$ (red data) and when only one player calls with J :spade:A :club:, my EV passes to 2.64$ (blue data).
I deduct out of that, that my move is EV+ and Villain's call is slightly EV-
However, this calculation is only correct with the fight between 9 :heart:9 :spade: vs J :spade:A :club:, in fact only one of the hand of villain's range.
In reality, Villain's range has more than one hand.

For what is this functionality ?

As I saw in the forum, there are practically no posts on this subject, is it used by HEM customers ?

Other question : how can "Luck" (3rd column) be interpreted?

The ICM model doesn't take into account a villain's range.
It's a calculation that only can be made when there is an all-in hand (so there is a showdown).

Each of these hands results in a EV Diff. All those EV Diffs combined--> result in the Luck Adjusted Winnings.
To interpret luck, read: http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-general/134021-husng-all-ev-line.html
