Hello all, I'm new here so I do apologize if my Questions have been asked already...I'm having a Big problem here (Not big really, but I can't figure it out)...I got my first HUD today which is Holdem Manager but for the life of me I can't
figure out how to use it/set it up...

I mean I have the Serial code in my Email inbox, but the problem is when I downloaded the software, and it asks to register your product and input the serial code in the box...

The box I'm talking about is the one which asks for name and then underneath that is Organization (I just leave the 2nd part blank btw), and serial number....But I always get same message, what am I doing wrong...

Once again I'm sry for asking such a basic question but I really have never used this HUD or any HUD TBH and even on
the free trail version never actually got to even experience the HUD:o

PLZ help

There seems to be something wrong with your installation.
Please try the following:
1. Create a new text document in the Config folder and name it LicDebug.txt
2. Open HM and register the program
3. Close HM and delete the LicDebug.txt file

If that doesn't help Please send the file reg.log (default path c:\program files(X86)\rvg software\holdemmanager\logs depending on your windows installation) with link to this thread and explanation to support@holdemmanager.com

ty btw, what you said worked...Now I have more dumb questions which as I have stated may have been asked...I played a game recently with, and at first it was picking up the hands/tracking them, but then it just froze on a stated hand, and after sometime it went up (I'm speaking it terms of the Numbers in hands)...The thing is though it was constantly behind the poker sites number of hands, so I wanted to know if there's a video on here to help me with this problem..

I'll post attachments so you see what I am talking about btw

I realize it's something really plain and more then likely easy but as I stated I have no clue TBH how to fix it

-1 Setup the seating preferences: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/34/PreferredSeating

-2 Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin"from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (or later for w7) installed.

Also check if you're using a HUD filter: hud optons--> additional HUD filters / and HUD options--> Tourney HUD filters.
