hm wont start

I switched from a sattellite isp to a dial up isp, after doing this when I click on the HM shortcut the start window pops up with 'validating' showing in it but it wont do anything else. When I check the error report it says 'hungapp', any suggestions? thanks

Reboot your computer
Check your internet settings (Proxy etc) and your firewall settings.
Which operating system?
Which HM version?

I am using the latest beta, I also tried rebooting with my antivirus turned off. My operating system is windows xp. It also said there was a problem with my license, everything was fine until I changed isps.
