Can you send me the replayer.hh and replayer.dat files from the importing\ hud data folder.

I just noticed the Tourney M stat and added it to my Hud. Just tested it and it displays if M was calculated by chips divided by only the blinds per round. M is how much it costs per round including blinds and antes divided into your chips. Is there a way for me to make this right? or can this be changed in a new update. Thank You.

when I tested it the first time it was on a pre fetch observe. I played a few tourneys tonight with it in my hud and it works fine until the antes kick in and then it is close to the correct M but obv. would like it dead on and also show 7.3, 8.8 etc. in my tests it was off alot by 1 and even if true M was 12.2 it may show 13 or 14. not sure how its being calculated, if its antes of 9 players like on most sites. or maybe its using numbers from previous hand so if your stack is higher or lower then its off a little or if new ante kicks in it may take additional hand to show correct M. anyway its close but I am big on M when playing tourneys and instead I would love this to be very accurate and reliable down to the tenth of a point. It is important when less than 10 M. Thank you.

Thank You. by next build does that mean the next beta release for 1.09? or 1.10 beta in months from now?

Not rushing you at all. just didnt know what the definition of the next build is. That is programmer talk and I am not a programmer. lol

So I guess you did take it out then ?

This is well over a year later and this still is not fixed properly. M is still not calculated right when Antes are in play.

I don't understand ?

Seems so easy to fix and get right...

Stack / Blinds + antes ( Just like it says how its calculated in your FAQ, but apparently not )

Surely you can handle that ?

update to http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/Hm_1.11.05_Beta.exe

Can you post a screenshot of a hand where the M stat is not calculated correctly?

I hardly ever can get stats to appear in the replayer. Yes, I have configuration set for the replayer

Anyway, here's the replayer version of a tourney hand where blinds were 250/500 and ante of 50. Btw, all of these errors have been pointed out in the past... like at least 18 months ago.

Edit: This is 1.11.05 Beta 15 and a new db of hh imported from originals.

Ok, I got the replayer stats sorted out. Image with stats on exactly same hand as in my previous post:

Here are the M figures, HM versus actual considering 250/500 50 antes and 6 players remaining. That makes the divisor 1050.

A: HM shows M of 4.3. If we use current stack of 4050, then M = 3.9. If we assume HM worked out the M b4 the hand was dealt (probably), then this player's stack would have been 4050+500 = 4550 and would yield an M = 4.33. Close enough.

B: HM shows M of 25.9. 15023 / 1050 = 14.3. Not close.

C: HM shows M of 13.1. 15203 / 1050 = 14.5. Meh.

D: HM shows M of 19.6. 20530 / 1050 = 19.6. Spot on.

E. HM shows M of 12.5. This is SB so if we take current stack of 14403 / 1050 them M = 13.7. If we add back in the SB then 14653 / 1050 = 14.0.

Interestingly, D has more chips than C but has a smaller M. Not kosher.

From this, two points.

First, there is sufficient variation in the results to indicate a flaw in the calculation that may be beyond HM's control.

Second, my understanding of M is that it relates to zones and that small variations in the value are not relevant. For instance, a player with an M < 10 is probably in fold/shove mode so an M of 3 is not significantly different to an M of 7. However, I'd be pretty pissed off if I made a determination based on villain having an M of 26 only to find that he was actually on 9 and did the opposite to what I expected.
