Hi,

Let me start from saying that I read manuals, FAQs and searched the forum but did not find any solution to my issue.

And I like HM so much more than PokerTracker that I will not give up too easily looking for a fix ;)

I installed HEM around 2 weeks ago from the trial version and it was working ok. Then, a couple of days ago, I downloaded beta 14a and tweaked it a bit as well as I set preferred Preferred Seats on PokerStars.

At some point, players names shown in HUD desynchronized with their table positions. This was easy to overcome clicking on the upper-left spade icon.

The issue that I could not resolve was desynchronized notes. Clicking on an asterisk on player A stats you get notes window with Playe B name on it.

I played a bit with HUD settings and disabled Preferred Seats in both PS and HM, to no avail though. Upgrading to beta 17 did not help either and added other issues, so I downgraded back to 14a.

Last thing I may try is to downgrade to the plain installation file which I started with, but I am afraid of losing my notes, hands etc. Can I safely go for it ?

I have WXP SP3, 1.6GHz Centrino and 1.5G RAM

Please advise

You can export your notes to reimport later - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/?f=119

I recommend using the preferred seat at pokerstars and matching the setting in HM. Then if you setup the Pre-Fetch, you can align the HUD before you ever sit to play. Once you sit at the first single table, and HM imports your first played hand, your stats should appear so you can position the hero stats.

Pre-Fetch at stars: HUD Options > Site Options > Pre-Fetch. You must also do this - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=29

If you are still having problems, I would like to see this happen myself. Please email fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so we can schedule a Teamviewer (http://www.teamviewer.com) session. Download and install the Teamviewer software using all the default settings.

Fozzy quickly found the solution :

"Close HM and the Table manager

Start > My Computer:

C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config

or, if you have 64 Bit Vista:

C:\Program Files (x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config

Delete pospref.txt and pospref2.txt files, only

HM will recreate the files to default when you start it. It should reset all of the HUD Panels and Note Windows to default postions. They should still appear near the proper players, as long as your seating preferences are all setup right, but they will need to be properly adjusted again, so they are in the exact same spots as before."

Now, it is working like a charm. Thank You, Fozzy :)
