I just started using HEM and after I installed it and PostgreSQL and launched it the 2nd time
I got this error massage first

Um das JIT-Debuggen (Just-In-Time) zu aktivieren, muss in der
Konfigurationsdatei der Anwendung oder des Computers
(machine.config) der jitDebugging-Wert im Abschnitt system.windows.forms festgelegt werden.
Die Anwendung muss mit aktiviertem Debuggen kompiliert werden.

Zum Beispiel:

Wenn das JIT-Debuggen aktiviert ist, werden alle nicht behandelten
Ausnahmen an den JIT-Debugger gesendet, der auf dem

The message is german but I hope the essentials are still understandable for someone who is familiar
with those error messages.I deinstalled the program and it again happened on the 2nd launch.

I hope someone can give me a hint on how to erase this error cause.

Please make sure that your windows is uptodate, all service packs and windows updates installed.
Uninstall your current NetFramework version with this tool: http://videos.holdemmanager.com/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
and download the NET installer and run it
For XP / Vista http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/e/20e90413-712f-438c-988e-fdaa79a8ac3d/dotnetfx35.exe
For Win7 - NET4 Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer) (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=9cfb2d51-5ff4-4491-b0e5-b386f32c0992&displaylang=en)
Restart HM2

Import your HUD's again.

Thanks for the quick reply.I followed your instructions and deleted & reintalled .NET framework
but the same error message comes once I try to start HEM.Maybe its interesting to mention that once I confirm
both error messages the starting banner from the programm appears

as if it was about to be able to start the program anyway but nothing more happens and I have to kill the process
under the task manager.It also mentions it as an unregistered software despite that I registered it on the first run.

I didnt even came to import or use any HUD.

Sorry, I missed your first part showing this is hm1, not hm2. I just saw the error and assumed it was HM2 since it's in the HM2 forum. Moving now. I'm not up to date on HM1 fixes.

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser) and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

0. Make sure you have installed the latest version.
1. Note your database connection settings from the database management
2. Close holdemmanager
3. Go to the folder config in the holdemmanager installation path
4. Rename the file holdemmanager.config to holdemmanager.config.corrupt or sth. like that.
5. Under Vista make sure that UAC is switched off or check the administrator settings for holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe under properties->compatibility
6. Restart Holdemmanager
7. Holdemmanager reinstalls and displays some messages and warnings
7a. A new holdemmanager.config file is generated
8. Reconfigure your database connection
9. After successful start reconfigure your Auto-import settings
10. Table manager should start again.

If none of that helps, I would suggest a clean reinstall:

1) Export any custom HUD configs individually, make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files. If you have custom filters/reports/stats, just copy the entire \holdem manager folder before uninstalling.
2) Uninstall HM with Revo Uninstaller Pro - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs easily (http://www.revouninstaller.com) using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.
6) Test if it for a while and see if it works
