Seems like I have always misinterpreted those stats (not a huge mistake though).

You definition is when people 2 and 3 barrel.

But, in reality, if I donk bet the flop, and bet the turn, this is in fact a continuation bet of my flop bet, why this should also get into those stats.

Howcome is this not the case, or rather, why do you call it turn/river c-bet percentages, when in fact its only 2 and three barrelling percentages?

If you're not the initial preflop raiser, your turn bet -in your example- will just be another donkbet.
For any C-bet to qualify you must be the preflop raiser yourself.


Turn C-bet = Double Barrel
River C-bet = Triple Barrel
