I tried restarting the postgreSQL service, but it wont start again. Now I get this error message when trying to connect through HEM:
Backend sent unrecognized response type: and then a list of nonsense.
Can you help?

I can't see which version I am running as HEM won't start before postgreSQL starts.

Hi,

Please email me the reg.log file from C:/Program Files/RVGSoftware/HoldemManager/log folder after you’ve tried all those steps, if you were unable to complete any step please let me know. email: support@holdemmanager.com

What steps do you mean?
Today I am getting a new error: "Error when connecting to "nameofdatabase": FATAL: 3D000: database "databasename" does not exist.

All right so after clicking ok to that, the "Database control panel" window pops up and I can choose from my previous two databases to set as default, but not the one the I am currently using - which apparently does not exist.
HEM is now ruuning, but I would really like to have the data back..

Create a new database (or use one of the other two databases) and reimport all your hands.
Run a import from folder on your archive folder, default: C:/HMArchive.
