Hi,

can you send us a screen shot of the error message you get. How to take a screenshot: How to Take a Screenshot in Microsoft Windows - wikiHow (http://www.wikihow.com/Take-a-Screenshot-in-Microsoft-Windows)

Hi,

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files, even if the firewall is turned off.

---

if the problem still persists please try a fresh install of holdem manager. follow this link http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...g+Preferences+ but don't do the step for copying back your config folder until you load holdem manager and confirm it is not giving the exception you can then copy back the config folder as per the FAQ and if the exception returns after you copy it back then this means one of your config folders is corrupt so let us know if this solves the issue.

Thanks

Hi,

It is best to do all the steps as sometimes when you update windows or your firewall it can cause these type of issues.

Thanks
