Position of HUD on pokerstars is not correct

Hi,

I have been trying to get my HUD stats to appear in the right place for pokerstars. I seem to have managed it for 6 max tables, but not for 9 and 10 player tables.

I have tried:


Updating with the latest version of HM
Setting the seating position in HM and on Pokerstars
Assigning a hero
Saving the table position in the table manager


Not sure what else I can do. It's v. annoying and I'd like to clear it up please.

Set it up in PokerStars and in HoldemManager for 6max, 9max and 10max.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin"from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (or later for w7) installed.

Right-click on a table in TableManager, and try to manually select the number of seats.

Thanks very much for your reply.

Eventually I've got it working. I noticed that it was always out of place, but in the same position if you see what I mean, so I just adjusted the seating position until it moved around.

This means that for 9-max, when I want to sit right in the middle at the very bottom of the screen, the setting in Holdem Manger -> Seating Preferences -> 9-max is: seat 8. I have made sure that I have chosen the middle bottom seat in the Pokerstars lobby -> options -> preferred seat -> 9 player table.

It works, but the cards that show after a hand has gone to showdown are still not appearing in the right places. Any suggestions?

I'm running Windows 7 and have set all the suggested exe files as running as administrator. My firewall thing is AVG.

I'd like to ask another question though, as well. I am playing tournaments and none of my wins are showing up in the results section. Is this a common problem? Do you know how I could fix this?

In the data-view part of the results, it is showing the actual finishing position in the 'size' column, I think and showing eith 8 or 9 quite often in the 'Finish' column instead. I'd really like to keep track of my finishes properly. Be grateful for any help on this.

Showdown cards: hud options--> table preferences--> turn on the card & alignment edit.
This will show all the showdown cards at the table.
Move them to the proper positions.
Click File--> Save Positions in TableManager
Turn off the card & alignment edit again.

Tournament wins: Read the tournament summary section @ http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/6/PokerStarsSetup and make sure the summaries are also saved and imported.
