HEM has been working fine, but haven't used it for the last couple days. oday I go to play and open HEM and get this error when it comes up saying initializing database it says The following error occurred when trying to open the database. Unable to read data from the transport connection. An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
What can I do?

This is a firewall / Spyware software problem. Start with this: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=164
Your firewall etc. must have exceptions configured for postgresql and holdemmanager communication on port 5432

I haven't changed anything since I last used it tho, and it worked fine then.

Please try going thru the FAQ(s) anyway, step by step. It is possible something updated or was re-enabled somehow.

I get this after the above errr after I click ok and it opens the PostgreSQL database control panel, when I click connect it gives me this:

Also had no luck with the FAQ, although i'm pretty clueless with computers.

I can give you a hand, but it will either have to be late tonight, or more likely tomorrow.
