hi
i never get this and don t know what to do. updated to 1.12.05 but same result. try disconnect and reconnect from PGAdmin but it didn t help.
impossible to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. (google translation)
any idea please?

This is usually a firewall or windows update issue.
First try to reboot.
If no help, try this:
Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Stop Service
Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Start Service
If that doesnt help delete the \postgresql\8.x\data\postmaster.pid file, if you see it. And reboot.
If that doesn't help you will have to reinstall PostgreSQL completely
Run a manual WIndows update first, installing all updates.

it worked after 3 times stop-start service in pg Admin III.
i got the same issue today. i made no change in antivirus/firewall, and last windows update wa made on 16th oct without any issue between 16th and 24th oct.
i ll try to delete the postmaster.pid file

nothing changed...
i uninstall hem and postgress and reinstall all.
it works now except i have no hud on betsafe. must i downgrade to 1.12.03? maybe same issue as 1.12.04?

i did it but it doesnt work in SNG DoN on betsafe.
downgraded to 1.12.03 and it s ok now.
