Hi, I installed the trial version of HEM to a friend's computer (version 1.12.05 installed on Windows XP sp3).
It installed without any problems, seems to be running just fine, found the HH folder of Pokerstars as expected, imported the files, but there seems to be absolutely no data in the database, no players, no hands, no nothing.. When I run auto import while playing, it imports the new HH files, but the data is not there, the hud is not there (even though the tables are recognized by table manager) I've been using HEM myself for years and I have never encountered this error, so I have no idea how to tackle it.. I'd appreciate some help. Thanks!

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Make sure the PokerStars lobby language is in English.
clear filters (even though it appears no filters are selected)

set the date formatting of your computer to M/d/yyyy (and not to European default d/M/yyy)

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin"from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (or later for w7) installed.
