Hello

A couple months ago I had the same problem and made a thread about it here :

http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hud-bugs/93821-table-manager-bugs-out.html

Id forgotten to turn off UAC.

Now, I caught a virus a couple days ago and since i got rid of it I have the very same problem with Table manager as before.

UAC is turned off, Windows Firewall is turned off (I even added exceptions for HM and Hmhud), I deleted every program I used to delete my virus. Also, everything is ran as administrator.

I updated HM to its latest version, too.

I'm running out of idea as to what causes my TM to not work..

Thanks for your help

Antar

Did you use Norton to get rid of the virus?
Do you still have the file hmhud.exe in your HoldemManager folder?

Try moving the file to your desktop and run it from the desktop.

I used Kaspersky.

I moved Hmhud.exe to desktop but couldnt use it from here, then I moved it back to the HM folder and it worked... once. It's now not working anymore, and moving it back to desktop then to Hm folder doesn't work anymore.

I'm totally confused.

You can't start hmhud.exe from any other folder than its original folder. If you want to have it on the desktop you need to create a shortcut and copy this shortcut to the desktop.

Does it still not work after a computer reboot?

Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files(X86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder (or something similar depending on your installation). It may be just called holdemmanager if you've extentions turned off.

This is really confusing.

After each reboot, the Hud/TM works... once.

If i close HM and restart it then TM and Hud wont work anymore unless I reboot again.

Completely uninstall Kaspersky and reboot.

Which Operating System, are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin"from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (or later for w7) installed.

Things got worse, TM and Hud now won't work at all under any conditions, not even after rebooting. Maybe I just got lucky yesterday?

I uninstalled Kasperksy right after i deleted the virus.

I'm using W7

Updated to the latest beta. Didn't help.

Everything is ran as admin, UAC is turned off.

Added exceptions to Windows Firewall, I'm not using a 3d party one.

I just updated my drivers using the ATI autodetect and autoinstall tool from their website, I just downloaded every windows udpate, and I have Microsoft.net framework 4.

It still won't work :/
