Is it possible to create aggregate statistics for general player pools, e.g. what % of hands played pre-flop are long term losers for all players who have played between 500 and 2500 hands? I am looking to see if peoples' play approaches a Nash equilibrium as they play more hands or higher stakes. If I could look at aggregate stats which indicate whether a group are close to Nash and compare that stat with another group it would be very helpful.

It's not really possible.

You can create an ALIAS. Add your top top 20 opponents (most profitable opponents you have more than 2500 hands on) to the alias, and use this to see which hands / how many hands they play, by selecting the alias.

Ideally you'd have ALL opponents added to the alias, but running PostgreSQL queries where you have too many players added to the alias will usually result in a crash.
