I've got a database on pt3 and was wondering is it possible to switch over too holdem manager? and if so how?

Export the hands with PT3, import them with HM.

is it possible to do so via pt3 or is it only possible via pgadmin?

It is only possible via exporting and re-importing.

Regarding your PT3 questions, I can't help you obviously :)

There is an export. I can't remember where it is at the moment and I don't have poker tracker installed on this machine. Ask the question on the Poker Tracker forum for the fastest results. If you can't find it I can look it up for you tonight.

That said, I would always recommend you keep your original hands (if you do have them import from them).
